Internet empowers people to make a better world.

In theory, internet could empower people to make a better world, but unfortunately, in practise it's really different.
People could use this media to do incredible things. In fact some organizations like Greenpeace are doing it, and they try to make the best out of it. Most people don't belong to this kind of organizations and they only use internet to enjoy it or to make a profit for themselves. Nowadays, people spend hours surfing on the internet and while they could fight and defend whatever thing which is good for the planet, they prefer to look at photos or chat with someone who is sitting next to them.
In my opinion, only a certain amount of people are using internet to make the world a better place; most of them are just waisting their time.

The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time

The legend of Zelda is the first videogame I remember. When I was a little child we didn't have Playstations and Wii's and all these things young people have nowadays. I had a Nintendo 64. I decided to write about this videogame because in my opinion it's the best one they ever invented. Nowadays they're inventing the new Zelda games for every new console but I wanna write about the first one. The legend of Zelda is an incredible game because it's full of fantasy. It's about a little guy (Link) which comes from the forest and is in love wih the princess of Hyrule (Zelda). A bad man (Ganondorf) kidnaps her and you gotta save her. By the time you advance in the game you get better weapons, cooler clothes and the best thing: you grow. I love this game because you can find zombies and fabulous animals in it, you can fight but you can also go to shops or just have a walk, and finally: by the time Link grows you grow too.

When fiction becomes more expensive than reality

Diablo III is an online RPG which had a lot of success these last years. The items you get in the game can be sold in reality. This week, a spanish gamer sold the most powerful weapon you can get in the game for 3000 euros.
If I think about the situation around the world there is only one thing I can do: laugh. Everyone of us has got something that he really enjoys in life: I like videogames too. But the fact that someone spent 3000 euros for somehting which doesn't exists in reality is (in my opinion) simply hilarious.

A little bit of climate change, for a change

This week the most important politicians are meeting on the World Climate Conference in Katar. They are supposed to find a solution for the climate change around the world and it's causes.
It's nice to know that people who take decisions are also taking care about these kind of things, even if there are so many other problems to solve (like the economic crisis, for example). But the fact that they are only taking decisions about what they will probably have to do in 2020 is wretched. The moment to act against climate change and all it's consequences is now, maybe in 2020 it will already be too late. But whatever, I suppose in the end money is more important than tolerance or respect for the rest of the planet.

Lonesome George wasn't alone!

Lonesome George, the last giant tortoise, died in June. He was the last tortoise of this kind living on the Galapagos islands. Now scientist discovered seventeen tortoises in Ecuador which have a similar genetic code because they're from the same subspecies.
In my opinion, on one hand that's wonderful because we didn't extinct the giant tortoises in the end and now we know that there are some left and we gotta take care of them. On the ohter hand, it's quite sad because George lived his life alone and he maybe could have lived together with these other tortoises to have a funnier life (he only got 100 years old, which is very little for a tortoise). Also it is really sad that we didn't realize how important it is to take care of the other species before we lost them, and even if there are other subspecies of giant tortoises left, Gorge and his species are forever gone and won't come back.

"Time is your enemy. It will steal everything away from you."

Nowadays people try to make us think that there's no reason to be afraid of the time. They try to make us believe that oldness and death are distant things. But it seems to me that everything ends up disappearing after a time. Not only the beauty, the youth and the life itself. In my view the saddest thing about time is that in the end it takes away your feelings (after a time you can stop loving or hating somebody) and your memories and it leaves you alone with the pain of knowing that you won't have a chance to do things twice, or to do these things you've never done.
Actually, at least there is one good thing I can say about time: it takes away your pain too.
